Questo cd riunisce due album che hanno come protagonisti il sassofonista Sonny Stitt e l’organista Brother Jack McDuff: “‘Nuther Fu’ther” (Prestige PRLP7452, anche noto come “Stitt Meets Brother Jack”) e “Soul Shack” (Prestige PRLP7297). Questi album segnano rispettivamente la prima e terza collaborazione in studio dei due musicisti (la seconda ha dato vita all’album “Soul Summit” Prestige PR7234). Nonostante la loro incredibile alchimia, Sonny Stitt e Brother Jack McDuff non hanno realizzato altre collaborazioni insieme dopo “Soul Shack”.
